Adventure Ideas

The following are small adventure synopses, little seeds that are easily expanded on. Some have been written up as full adventures, but I unfortunately lack the time to edit them and put them on the Web. Adventures that have been actually run are marked with an asterisk (*).

Saburo Arasaka's Hungry
The PC's are hired to locate a fresh Salmon for Saburo Arasaka's dinner, at all costs! Not as easy as it might sound. Humorous fun!

Hormonia!
The PC's are hired by a sexually ambiguous individual to help him/her break into a Medical Research Facility to procure the much-needed but legally unavailable hormones he/she requires. Keep them guessing!

Dog Days*
A canine-appearing near-full-conversion borg/exotic with speech problems hires the PC's to help him break into a Research Lab to steal some new product (ho-hum, right?), but once inside, he reveals that he was formally a dog and was subjected to research into artifically enhanced intelligence and cybernetics replacement. There is no new product, but he is trying to free the trapped test-animals, ala PETA. Twisted animal experiments to gross out the players!

Tochiro and Juliet*
The President of Biotechnica, Nicolo Loggagia, hires the PC's, through an intermediary, to find his runaway daughter, the terribly spoiled and rich Cleopatra Juliet Augusta Romanoff-Logaggia. She has fled her escorts and has re-joined her true love, Tochiro Konichi, a former Biotechnica human test subject who has developed psycho-kinetic powers ala-Akira. Unless the PC's can stop Tochiro and recover Juliet, they'll return to Rome on a commandeered cargo jet with a small army of mind-controlled gang members to confront her father with their love. But in the end, Nicolo kills Tochiro and Juliet kills him, only to have his body explode, killing everyone in the room. As it turns out, He expected this sort of behavior and cloned himself, packed with biological explosives, and sat back and watched the whole thing. If the PC's survive, they'll be well paid!

Ain't Nothin' Like the Real Thing, Baby
The PC's are invited/sent to paintball combat training on an abandoned oil rig in the middle of the ocean. Unfortunately, a cache of drugs was hidden there years ago, and one of the players has smuggled a real gun aboard and plans to leave with the goods and no witnesses. Use this to make your PC's use melee weapons and hand to hand. Stripped of their weapons, they'll have to think their way out of it!

Big Nights, Bright City
The PC's are hired to travel to Pittsburgh, site of a terrible nuclear accident, to retrieve a forgotten piece of hardware/software/evidence. Gives the REF a chance to unload plenty of RADs on the PC's, not to mention degenerate survivors!

Deep Hurting
The PC's must run a drug formula into one of the OTEC Deep Sea mining colonies on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, then try to get out alive. The PC's will have to get past Pirates, OTEC security subs, and maybe even the weather! Great way to introduce Oceanpunk!

Cannot Undo!
The PC's are hired to deliver a stolen virus program to a group of terrorists. Then, after the operation, they are hired by Microtech, the target of the terrorists, to stop them from using the virus and capture the terrorists. Unfortunately, the Terrorists are already breaking into Microtech! Great fast-pasted adventure!

Protect the Pig
The PC's are hired as bodyguards for a cheavanist pig rockerboy who has been receiving threats from the local Arch-Feminist Grrl Gang. His contract with the PC's states that should he disappear, they must recover him alive or pay a breach-of-contract penalty. Good way to get to those Female PC's!

I Want My Baby Back!*
A distraught mother hires the PC's to recover her lost teenage daughter who has left home and joined a cult. The cult secretly plans on using her as a sacrifice to some arcane god. Great Lovecraftian adventure, make sure to brush up on your real-life cult practices to make this adventure even more effective (one of my players almost JOINED the cult)!

I've Seen Too Much! (the prequel to Eurotrash)*
The PC's are hired to perform surveillance on a woman's husband, an up-and-coming executive in Infocomp, who is having an lunch-time affair with an EBM secretary. While taking photos, the PC's witness the executive murder his mistress and escape unnoticed. When they return to the wife's house, a nice corporate surburban model in Beaverville, it is destroyed and the wife is dead, they don't get paid. Or do they? They are approached by the executive, however, who has been watching the house from his armored car down the street since the bombing. He hires them to help him get back into Infocomp as an EBM Eurosolo hit team is after him. He obtained secret information regarding the president of EBM and had to kill the secretary to retain exclusive rights at Infocomp. If he gets back alive, they PC's will be well paid. Great Moral Dillema!

Kim Young vs. Kim Young*
A young corporate at Biotechnica's house is being vandalized during the day while she's at work. Her corporate security restricts access into and out of the corporate neighborhood, but otherwise refuses to help her (big hint). She hires the PC's to stay in her house for a few days to determine who's doing it. During the day, they discover that a twin of Kim Young, dressed in black Special Ops gear and armed, is vandalizing the house. When the PC's stop her, they'll discover that the vandal is Kim Young herself! Another victim of Biotechnica experiments (cloning, dual personality, twins, take your pick). Upon this discovery, the Biotechnica researchers observing Kim's behavior unleash their security on the PC's. The PC's must them make it out alive. More great Moral Dilemma stuff!
