     It's also worth noting that Amanda is probably the ONLY student who
doesn't
                     find Ms. Knight the bane of their existence-- math is her
                     best subject, so Amanda can understand Knight-sensei's
                     lectures despite her best efforts. They still don't get
                     along, of course.

          her Miss Pulverston, except on those rare occasions when she isn't
          peeved... in which case she calls her Sally.

     Notable possessions:
          A Motodyne Flightcycle, 2142 model. Given to her by her brother when
            he moved to college and modified since then with things from Mecha
            Technologies class.
          A butterfly brooch and matching hair combs that shift their

            match her clothes, presents from Freddie last Christmas. The
brooch
            has a small transmitter, ala Trek, that links to her flightcycle
            and is used to give verbal commands. The autopilot is capable of
            tracing her signal and coming to her location if called.
