Subject: [PSC] Clubs (incomplete)
(inspired by the "Battlemaster High" setting)
Powersuit City High School Student Clubs:
Most of the clubs of PSCHS are your typical everyday student activity
groups. However, there are a few clubs that are extremely ambitious.
These clubs form major voting blocs in the Student Senate and are
nigh-constantly plotting one another's downfall.
(note: not all the character names are filled in because I don't have a
lot
of characters and I wanted to leave some names open for others to fill
in).
Each club listing includes the following:
President: The name of the club's student president.
Advisor: The name of the club's faculty advisor.
Allies: Which clubs are friendly toward this club?
Enemies: Which clubs are hostile toward this club?
Description: What the club does and what kind of sick, twisted and
demented
individuals join.
Chess Team
President: Kenichi Takahashi
Advisor: Dr. Misato Kiyosaki
Allies: Debate Team, Newspaper
Enemies: None.
Description: The Chess Team is neutral. They want to keep the school
open,
and play chess. That's about it.
Choral Association
President:
Advisor: Neil Holland
Allies: Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty Soldiers, Quiz Bowl,
Sports
Club, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,
Science Club
Description:
Combat Cheerleading Squad (also called "C-Squad")
President:
Advisor:
Allies: Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio Club, Science
Club
Enemies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz

Advisor: Anne Magami
Allies: Choral Association, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty Soldiers, Quiz Bowl,
Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,
Science Club
Description: Melisma organized the Engineering Club as a way of getting
the
mechashop students a voice in Student Senate, with the help of
Magami-sensei. It was only after the club was formed that its rivalry
with
the Science Club began, a rivalry pushed along by Melisma's personal
rivalry with Science Club president Karen Sapphire.
Jazz Ensemble
President: Sara Silverstern
Advisor:
Allies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Pretty Soldiers, Quiz
Bowl,
Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,

President: Saruji Ariyaku
Advisor:
Allies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio Club, Science
Club

Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Description:
Ladies of the Crown
President:
Advisor: Natsumi Ishimoto
Allies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Radio Club, Science Club
Enemies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Description: If you're in the LC, there is only one reason: you're a
girl,
and you can alter, in some fundamental way, the operating rules of the
universe. Be it Earth magick, charms or cybermancy, you're magickal.
The
LC HATES the Pretty Soldiers and the Engineers because they attract
many
more members and are generally more popular with the opposite sex (at
least
those Engineers who cross over into the Pretty Soldiers), 'cause hey,
let's
face it: girls with magickal powers are scary to mundane guys.
Unfortunately, their Advisor, Miss Ishimoto, is an Evil Bitch and the
Pretty Soldiers know it.
Newspaper
President: Melvin Umino
Advisor:
Allies: Chess Team, Debate Team
Enemies: None.
Description: The Newspaper is one of the few neutral clubs in the
constant
infighting among the various student organizations of Powersuit City
High
School.
Pretty Soldiers
President: Sara Kurijima
Advisor: Anne Magami
Allies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Quiz
Bowl,
Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: Ladies of the Crown
Description: The Pretty Soldiers are the on-campus magical
girls'/powersuit
girls' club. Girls only (though Freddy Tachys is an unofficial
member),
although members are allowed to bring boyfriends with them to club
meetings.
The Pretty Soldiers are *VERY* friendly with the Engineers (why not,
the
same teacher advises both, and the presidents are best friends, too).
Quiz Bowl
President: Amanda Pulverston
Advisor: Jeff Springer
Allies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,
Science Club
Description: Quiz Bowl was brought into the murky spiral of inter-club
politics by its president, and her ongoing feud with Radio Club
president
Jeana Winters.
Radio Club
President: Jeana Winters
Advisor: Asst. Principal Arron Sentar
Allies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Science
Club
Enemies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Description:
Science Club
President: Karen Sapphire
Advisor: Dr. Clayton Forrester
Allies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club
Enemies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club, Vocal Jazz
Description: The Science Club has pretty much become Karen's tool for
personal advancement. They are currently neutral toward the Chess
Team,
though this may change if Karen's relationship with Chess Team
president
Kenichi Takahashi blossoms into true love. Their factional
affiliation
might also change if this happens. The club advisor loves science for
science's sake too much to interfere with its business too much.
Sports Club
President: Musica Sonata
Advisor: Coach Nelson
Allies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Vocal Jazz
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,
Science Club
Description:
Student Senate
President:
Vice-President:
Secretary:
Treasurer:
Advisor:
Allies: None
Enemies: None
Description: With equal representation from both halves of the
constant
factional wars of Powersuit City High, Student Senate tends to be
rather
ineffectual at ending the conflict. The "Good Guys" coalition
currently
has a shaky majority in the senate, but this changes often.
Vocal Jazz Ensemble
President:
Advisor: Neil Holland
Allies: Choral Association, Engineering Club, Jazz Ensemble, Pretty
Soldiers, Quiz Bowl, Sports Club
Enemies: C-Squad, Karate Club, Kendo Club, Ladies of the Crown, Radio
Club,
Science Club
Description: The Vocal Jazz Ensemble includes the Sonata twins and
Keiko
Akagi, and are among the "good guys" mostly by affiliation with them.
