Alisa was the daughter of wealthy Portland businesswoman Janet Aulisio-Thomas. She grew up around high-tech and has always been as technically intuitive as her inventor father, Bill Thomas, though she was often rebellious and rash. Bill and Janet were good friends of Dr. Katsuhito Stingray of Japan and were saddened by his death 14 years ago.

They were also successful financially, thanks to Janet's shrewd investing and and management of her and her husband's high-tech company. Genom, however, disliked the small but powerful competition and, after failing to acquire the smaller firm, had Janet's entire family abducted in 2029. Alisa was seperated from her parents but managed to fight her captors and free her brother and herself. She returned home only to find an unsympathetic police force in the pocket of Genom and that her mother's business partners had sold out the company and liquidated all of the family's assets. She found, however, a mysterious package left to her by her missing father.

The package contained instructions, in the case of either his disappearance or death, on where secret caches of money is held for her and her brother. The instructions also contained blueprints and schematics of 3 hardsuits to be constructed to help protect her and her mother and brother from further Genom attacks. Since that time, Alisa has used her wealth and equipment to found the "Dragon Knights", a team of adventurers based on Dr. Stingray's own daughter's plan, the "Knight Sabers" in Mega-Tokyo. She hopes to use this team to strike back and Genom and one day find her missing parents.
