Mecha Technician

Bill Thomas was once a successful technician and engineer in Portland. He was lead designer in a high-tech custom vehicle design company run by his wife, Janet Aulisio-Thomas. He was a protege and confidant of Dr. Stingray in Tokyo. The two helped design the now famous Hardsuits piloted by their daughters, Sylia Stingray and Alisa Thomas, and their respective teams. After Dr. Stingray's death, Bill was pressured to by Genom to work for them. Bill reluctantly agreed, for a while, and helped develop several Genom technologies, the Genom Powered Suit is his best example.

As Bill became privy to more and more Genom secrets, he discovered the truth about Dr. Stingray's death at the hands of Brian J. Mason. Bill decided to halt all research for Genom and quit. Unfotunately, Genom saw things differently and had his home sabotaged with explosives. His wife was killed and Bill was captured and placed in Cryogenic Storage in their Special Assets Depository deep beneath the waters of the South Pacific. The police assumed he was dead, the victim of a mysterious Gas Main explosion. The case was closed.

Bill knew of his impending fate, however, and managed to place several cache's of money and instructions in secret locations known only to himself and his daughter. These instructions included designs for building and modifying hardsuits in the hopes of protecting his daughter and son, and information about Genom. Alisa took the money and designs and created the Dragon Knights, a force dedicated to stopping Genom from their insidious plots.

Bill was recently rescued from his undersea prison on Christmas Eve, 2033, by Toshi Nagata in the Cyclops v.2. He has since been reunited with his daughter and son. His future plans are uncertain, indeed, to the world, he is still dead.
