Broken Mountain Forge
Broken Mountain Forge, a Twilight Caste Warrior/Sorceror, is a big northman in furs with a missing right eye. He lives in a Manse in the far North surrounded by a vast frozen lake and guarded by an intelligent Horned Snow Hunter. Broken Mountain Forge weilds an ancient Goremaul forged of Starmetal known as Eternal Void.
BMF's smithy was named Mountain Forge. After the passing of his beloved wife, the smithy was renamed Broken Mountain Forge. BMF ran the smithy since he was 20 years old. It was a modest smithy, always visited by merchants looking for trade and barter to take to the south as well as young adventurers setting out on their first adventures and collecting the equipment they needed. BMF left the smithy in the hands of his son and daughter-in-law Torlung and Higgard when he set out on his own adventures at age 67.
BMF engraved his signature into everything he forged, an ice-capped mountain with an anvil and hammer at its base. His son, Torlung has modified this signature slightly, and added a rising sun to the background of the mountain.
IceHome is where Broken Mountain Forge lived and raised his extensive family. Some of his works of metal have been traded throughout the Empire while he was still a Blacksmith. BMF moved to the far north after the passing of his beloved wife Hildveig (his kids have moved on and started families of their own, so he had nothing tying him to his smithy in Icehome anymore), following a strong yearning to learn the mysteries of the first age, something that had excited him from childhood. He has not mentioned his real name to the group yet, but has talked about his family. They are listed below...

Dontesse
Dontesse is a Dawn Caste Mercenary. He is an adventurous rogue and heir to a family fortune. He sails the Western Seas with his ship of sea-going mercenaries.
Dontesse's Power Bow of Perfect Accuracy is named "Unrelenting Luminessence". Crafted in the First Age by Avatars of the Unconquered Sun. He recieved it as a comming-of-age present from his parrents who were unaware of its significance, it was just a pretty golden bow. It wasn't until 12 years later when he first used it in combat that it lead to his Exaltation.
The Shield Bracer the he wears on his left arm looks much like a gaudy arm gaurd for his bow, covering elbow to wrist. With in is placed a large dark blue Hearthstone. He discovered it within a undersea cave of coral that became his Manse. It is called "Trassa the Shield Maden" by the sea spirits. It origin is unknown to Dontesse. Although the name Trassa is a sea sprite of legend and fokelore. The arm band may have been created by the sprite or even contain some her essence and sprit.
The Star Metal Breastplate is "Perfect Celestial Guidence". Dontesse 'Gleaned' this from a fallen Sidereal Exalted that was on board one of the pirate ships Dontesse did battle with. He never discovered if the Sidereal was working with the pirates, in the wrong place at the wrong time, or was possibly a spy on board the pirate vessel and was accidently killed in the fighting. Whatever the origin, the pervious owner was definately Exalted, and given the rarity of star metal, someone may come looking for it.

Netiso Suse, Master of the Seven Golden Lessons
Netiso Suse, Master of the Seven Golden Lessons, is a Night Caste Thief from the far South. A poor man but a master thief. Not too bright. Netiso wields the legendary Living Glaive
Netiso came to "consciousness" in the southern city of The Lap. His street smarts and glib tongue served him well in the beginning, as he explored the boundaries of his new-found powers. He has a love for all things bright, shiny, and expensive. However, it is not out of greed that he steals, but more for the thrill of the hunt. His spoils are soon given over to charities, street people in need, orphans, etc once his basic needs are taken care of. Think along the lines of Robin Hood. He has also been known to gift subversive elements with large cash or treasure donations to work towards the removal of the Scarlet Queens choke-hold on society.
His anima is a bright golden aura filled with whirling, spinning coins of thousands of denominations across many cities/states, both modern and ancient. Some are recognizable, many are not. Not even Netiso knows what all of the coins are.
His armor, called the "1st Lesson of Gold", is a reinforced Buff Jacket with golden coins woven into the armor like plate. It is to physically represent that Money can buy the power of defense. This was stolen from a master of a merchant caravan shortly after becoming Exalted, and was the origination of the "Master of the Seven Golden Lessons" surname. The Master of that Merchant Guild would probably like his armor back some day, so this a powerful enemy that could be a plot twist someday.
His weapon, the "Living Glaive" was stolen at the same time, and eventually Netiso gained mastery of it's use. This is the "2nd Lesson of Gold", which is that Power, like Money, should be kept in reserve for emergencies. The Living Glaive's ability to offer an additional action free of cost to dodge or parry is the physical demonstration of this Lesson. See above for plot twist idea #1.
Netiso has traveled extensively in all the darker corners of Creation, gaining contacts and familiarity with the seamier side of most of the major towns in the known world, but to a more limited extent on the Golden Isle, where he has been reluctant to travel. He has had a special focus on Nexus, as the center for barter and trade outside the watchful eyes. He enjoys the freedom of "expression" that Nexus offers. Plot twist idea #2?
